The increasing number of illegal lotteries is a reality in Asturias. This phenomenon is not only been studied by the Gambling Brigade and reported by local bingos, but also the national TV channels are covering what is happening in the Principality.

Meanwhile, the Regional Bingos Association (Asebi) is waiting for the result of the six demands presented last month, and also waiting for the National Police to close these illegal businesses.

However, this one doesn’t seem to be the way to success. Asebi recognizes that these illegal lotteries, after being closed by the Police, open again in a new place a few days later. So the only solution for this problem would be to penalize the people who go to gamble at these places. This possibility is already considered by national legislation.
