Playing bingo is good for brain functions

A study conducted by Julie Winston, from the Center for Visual Cognition at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, revealed that playing bingo is beneficial for brain functions, like memory and hand-eye coordination, and improves them.

Winston found that those who play bingo suffer less memory losses and are more accurate and faster than non-players. She also discovered that bingo players have a greater ability to grasp surrounding information.

Besides, Winston reportedly informed that the performance of older bingo players was the same as that of younger players. Even though the latter’s brain response was faster, the accuracy showed by older bingo players during the tests was impressive.
