A bingo fundraiser for Mission Possible, a program that builds homes for low-income people in Mexico, will be held Sunday, Jan. 29 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dillon. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, which is located at 715 E. Bannack St. across the street from the Cub Baseball Field and Park.

Fifteen games of bingo will be played. The entry fee is $15 and includes a token that can be traded in for two cards valid in all 15 games.

Several local businesses have donated generously donated prizes to this event. Each prize is valued at $25 or more and the grand prize is worth $100. Additional snack items will also be sold.

All proceeds will go toward the Mission Possible 2006 trip. This trip includes 25 youth and adults from Dillon who will travel to Baja Mexico to build a 22 foot by 22 foot house for a family who currently lives in a cardboard shack.
