First electronic bingo hall in the UK

Riva Gaming Group has introduced a new concept for London bingo fans to try out. This week, the bingo operator opened the first fully electronic bingo hall in the UK, which offers 582 personal hand-held bingo terminals. These new machines are intended to replace traditional paper bingo tickets.

“Riva is at the forefront of bingo technology and product development,” Simon Hannah, CEO of Riva, said. “We are operating in a challenging environment but we believe there is still plenty of room for growth for operators who provide unique and exciting facilities.”

With this new technology, the company aims to present one of the most traditional games in a more modern way and give their customers more choices concerning what they spend during a bingo night. “The new facility provides our players with an exciting bingo challenge and we are delighted with the number of players who are enjoying playing a part in the evolution of bingo,” Hannah added.

The company has also paid special attention to those bingo fans who are also smokers and, in view of the smoking ban recently introduced, twenty more of the portable devices will be available to players in the outside smoking area.
