A lucky man will reunite with his son who is in Australia, thanks to his recent win at Gala Bingo of over £60,000. The 62 year old man from Bradford is able to make this trip to visit his son only thanks to his large amount of cash win this past Sunday.

The assistant manager at Gala Bingo in Bradford, Josie Merrick, said: “It was a great end to a great night! Other members had already had smaller wins earlier that evening, so to win the National at the end of the night was the icing on the cake. There was a great atmosphere, with everyone clapping and cheering him.”

In only 43 numbers, the man managed to complete full house on the national bingo game; this was the lowest full house call throughout all of the clubs that participated. He first won the national jackpot prize worth £60,000; then he went on to winning the regional prize of £1,943 and also won the Gala Bingo’s own house prize of £80. All together this gave him winnings for a night of £62,023.

This man will be one of the last to win this game, as that Gala Bingo will withdraw from the national bingo game. Instead, it will introduce an upgraded version of their already existing high 5 jackpot game. More details will be released closer to the debut date.
