Bingo is really in trouble in Rocky Mountain.
For many years, Bingo has been a good source of income for non-profit fundraises, accumulating millions annually to purchase band instruments, baseball uniforms or aid scholarships; it even has helped raising teachers’ salaries.
But that has come to an end, with the legalization of gambling in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek, bingo has been struck hardly, and so have been all the institutions that benefit from it.
